FaceTime(zoom, teams, etc.) popup not showing

Usually, when you are in a FaceTime call, you are able to see a popup of the app showing the other persons camera. This happens when you

open the Home Screen when you are in a call/meeting. This happens in other apps like zoom as well. But for some reason, after I reset my iPad, these pop ups are not showing up and my camera automatically closes when I exit to the Home Screen. Please help me.
