How to change alarm sounds in my iPhone 16 ?

My iPhone 16 alarm sounds with one loud ring then the rest are quiet as I set it. How do I make them all quiet?

Can't set alarm sound default Still unable to set default alarm sound on iPhone SE 16.1.2. I've tried everything stated in previous forums. I changed it to silent a few months ago and ever since, not matter what, it creates an alarm with silent setting. The only way I can get an alarm with a sound is to set the sound with each new alarm, or if Siri sets it, I have to go back and redo the sound.

Thanks for your reply. I don’t have a problem with volume control, apart from the first ring of the alarm being loud. How do I make this quiet to match the rest of the alarm volume.

alarm volume is on its lowest setting but still the first ring of the alarm is loud. Help appreciated.
