My brand new iphone 16 pro max battery is draning fast, even with general usage, i expected at least 10-12 hours of usage i am always on wifi and disabled background app refresh, location services, hard restarted the iphone, disabled siri and learn from the app still the issue does not gets resolved.

My iphone is 512gb and the storage used is less than 70gb. I do not open many apps or close it immediately when not using. Its just been few weeks after the purchase
I am guessing that the apple inteligence is consuming more battery and making the battery situation worse even if i do no use it but just have apple inteligence turned on. As i already follow every steps suggested and also i do not see any major thing in Battery statitics. something is consuming power but its not showing up.

Sometimes, the storage on your phone takes up space. You may need to clear storage of things you do not need.
It may also mean that you are simply opening too many apps at once, or using apps with high demand. Make sure that the apps you are using are not high demand, and you're closing apps when not in use.
With this in mind, your battery may last longer.
Extra: To prevent your battery from significantly worsening over time, be sure to set a charging limit. I set it to 80% and my phone works fine.

Which apps are showing consuming the most battery resources at Settings > Battery?
Be aware that Facebook and WhatsApp has been shown to cause severe battery drain from background processes. Meta has been attempting to update their apps multiple times, so not sure if they resolved the problem or still working on it.
ISO 18.2 changed some of my settings on my iPhone 16 Pro, one of them being background app refresh was turned on. I switched that off, and battery life went back to normal.
It might be more than that.

My last 24 hours shows just 4h3m screen active and 57 m screen idle yet my battery is 31%.
I did not use the phone much or did any any heavy browsing in any browser or any sort of social media.
Highest is the camera and photos but its very less used 30 mins in a whole day. Whatsapp's just 3% on 7m screen time.
Yes i do have background app refresh turned off including the location services and the hey siri is turned off but still the battery is draining on an average 1% for every 5-6 mins of usage.
