iMovie projects not creating with still photos on iPad after iOS 18.2 update

Recently updated to iOS 18.2 on my iPad.since then the iMovie will not create projects using still photos. Videos seem ok.

i have tried deleting and reloading several times but no joy.

is there a software issue ?

iMovie on iPad won't transition to a different photo I am using iMovie version 3.0.5 on my iPad with iOS 18.2. I am trying to make a movie in iMovie. When I add multiple pictures, it will only show the first photo. It will not transition into the new picture in edit mode or just playing it from the project list. When I manually move the play line, it will transition, but when I hit the play button, it will not. I have added different types of transitions, deleted transitions, and it still will only show the first picture. I've never experienced this issue before. Is there something that needs to be updated in the app?

iMovie not working on iPhone Regardless of how many photos are loaded in iMovie, only one is running. They do not dissolve, fade, slide or wipe etc either. Photos and iMovie have full access permissions. I have tried re-setting privacy and location as suggested by some. It’s not working.
