Cannot buy albums in Music App, iTunes Store not an option after search

I was told to switch to the Apple music App and the Apple Devices app after asking about an iTunes problem, however I now have more problems.

When I search for a band and find their album, there is no price shown. There is an add to library button, that leads to the page to subscribe to Apple Music. I do not have an Apple Music subscription, I do not want a subscription, I want to keep buying my albums the old fashioned way. I found this guide: Buy music from the iTunes Store on your PC - Apple Support (KW) , this makes the iTunes Store appear in the sidebar, however the bar on top with the three links on the right (Apple Music, Your Library, iTunes Store) shown in this guide is missing in the latest version of the apple music app for windows. Clicking on the iTunes Store in the sidebar opens the homepage of the store and looses my search results. Starting a search when the store is shown has the same result.

How can I buy Albums in Apple Music App for Windows like I used to in iTunes?

In my opinion you should uninstall Apple Music, Apple Devices, and Apple TV, such that iTunes works properly again. If you still have an issue with iTunes we can can discuss that further, but Apple Music is not an improvement, at least not yet.

After making the search, look for the small < chevron at the top and click on it. You may need other click on it multiple times to get the button bar with the iTunes Store option to show up though.

With that said, yeah, I agree with TT, Apple Music is not quite ready for Prime time on Windows.

There was no chevron there, but funny enough the next day after switching the computer on and launching Apple Music, the button bar was there.

Then the downloads for the music I bought did hang until I did restart the computer again.

Then I spent half an hour fighting with Apple Devices to get 7 albums that I did add to my library from ripped CDs synced to my iPad, on the first try, none of them were synced, on the second try, 6 made it, the other one showed as synced in Devices but doesn't not appear on the iPad. After several rounds of deactivating and activating the album in Devices and syncing again and again, I managed to get it over onto the iPad.

I'm afraid you're both right, both Apple Music and Apple Devices seem to be still in beta state.
