iTunes Store UI is horrible - New Apple Music App

100% push towards subscription. Been a Mac user for best of 20 years... as Steve Jobs said - I'm actually in the small minority who like owning their music (or the idea of owning it... I..e pay for it if I like it as opposed to be able to listen to millions of tracks out there for a small fee.) iTunes Store actually use to great... it gets worse with every iteration - as well as the removal of features.

Unfortunately from a business perspective it probably makes 100% sense to Apple, but the minority out there suffer - who want to pay for individual tracks and albums and not worry that if they ever cancel susbscription - they loose access to music.

Not being able to search by artist or song is just plain weird. I looked all over for the search function and couldn't find it. They have top albums, top songs, New music and genres...

just to add to this... imagine todays gen (whatever they are) - when they hit 70, and still having to pay subscription to listen to their huge library. Some might say music might not matter when their old... I tend to disagree.

thanks - yeh wasn't really asking a question, just commenting other users post. TBH it's just the UX is rubbish on iTunes - and yes I'm aware of others.

Browsing is just not very good. Searching for some artists leads to only one album. I don't see changing the display and ease of use so greatly.

Not exactly sure what your question is, but if you want to buy music and for whatever reason are unhappy with the iTunes Store, you can purchase music downloads from Bandcamp, Amazon, Beatport, EClassical, HDTracks, and many other sources.

Once you buy them, keep an active copy and at least one reliable backup. You can play them in iTunes/Music or any other player.
