Calls going straight to voicemail after updating iPhone to iOS 18.2

Doesn't work. Doesn't solve anything. Also, having phone in silent mode has nothing , absolutely nothing to do with calls going straight to voicemail!

where did you gather that information ?

thank you, strangely enough, that seems to be true. actually no settings had to be adjusted on my end - don't know what tmobile did on their end. then, after turning phone off/ on the problem was magically resolved. still no idea as to how and why this happened.

I had this issue before and it was resolved by contacting my cellular service provider, AT&T and they reset some settings on their end and incoming calls were back to normal. Just my experience.

by re-posting apple website content you are not helping anyone. this is just basic stuff many people go through and have read already. your apple community references answer shows the bad side of community half knowledge based on hastily answering without really reading/ understanding the question asked.

You’re welcome! Yah, AT&T didn’t need be to do anything either. My understanding is the carriers write a lot of the firmware and software for the modems in phones.
