Since updating to IOS 18.1 (and Newer current is 18.1.1) some calls, even people in my contact list, are going straight to Voice Mail, do not disturb is off, silence unknown callers is off, carrier has detected no issues, ran diagnostics with the apple support app nothing found there, I've restarted my device several times. I've missed several important calls from tenants and physicians offices.

This happens to me too, mainly on CarPlay. Call comes in shows on the screen and goes to voicemail. If I catch it quickly on my end it appears the other person hung up, they actually go to voicemail. Very frustrating. I’ve done a forced reset, added driving focus in case there was a bug looking for it in code since I didn’t have it setup. Issue still persists. Very annoying. Basic phone operation is making and taking calls. iPhone 14 Pro

Update to 18.2 fixed it
Have you tried a forced restart to see if the issues persist
Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button.Press and hold the side button.
If it’s only happening on car play, you might want to contact your dealer and inquire about any updates to the head unit.
Tried it Apple’s problem iOS 18.2 fixed it.
