Apple Music for Windows No Longer Automatically Adds to File System

When importing/copying music into Apple Music for Windows (music not bought from the iTunes Store), it no longer creates a folder for the song(s), nor does it put the file in it's file system.

I do still have the "Automatically Add To iTunes" and "Automatically Add to Apple Music" folders there.

This is the latest version of Apple Music, on the latest version of Windows 11.

How Rescan Apple Music Library On Windows 11 I just installed Apple Music on Windows 11, and I went to import my songs from my NAS backup, but because they are in folders, it won't let me import them all at once. When I select all folders, the selection just jumps into the last folder, and I can only import files, but not my entire folder structure. That will take HOURS. So I instead copied all the files from my NAS to the configured local lobrary... but the songs still don't show up in the app. How can I force the app to rescan it's library to pick up the songs? Baring that, how do I import multiple folders at once?

Adding mp3 files to music library I am trying to add a large collection of songs I have on my laptop to my apple music and I tried putting them into "Automatically add to Music" but they all got put into a "Not Added" folder. They are all MP3 so I am unsure what the issue is.

iTunes Not Saving Music Library Location I am using iTunes 12126.1.54048.0 on Windows 10. I want to move the music library to a NAS. I go to Edit...Preferences...Advanced and change the location of the library to the NAS drive. I know it works because if I go to Files...Library...Organize Library, I see the music files being copied to the NAS. The problem occurs when I close iTunes and then open it again. When I do this, the library location goes back to what it was before I moved it to the NAS drive. Any advice? Thanks! John
