Iphone storage backup to Windows machine

my iPhone storage is 256 GB, trying to backup it to Windows machine using itunes, but it is taking so long, I am using Windows machine with higher configuration. When i can expect the backup to complete.

Iphone backup 2x the size of the Iphone Storage Hello, I am trying to backup my Iphone XR (128GB) to Itunes on my Windows PC. My windows drive is 500GB, and has 300GB of space, when i try backup my Iphone XR so i can restore to my new Iphone 14 it basically runs out of space. The backup is over 200GB and fills up my drive, i have no other Iphone backups. I have done this process many times, this is the first time I have backed up an IPhone using Itunes and the backup by 3 times the size of the IPhone storage. Is the Iphone storage corrupted, why is the backup so large. Thanks, Paul
