i load up the apple music app on my Lg tv & the screen just goes completely grey, like no error messages, just completely grey. i’ve tried restarting the tv, deleting the app & reinstalling. but yet the problem is still the same. can someone help me out ?

I spoke to Apple today and they told me it’s a known issue and to wait on a new s/w update
Now working after updating to new app release
They literally just fixed it today bro
try updating the app & if that don’t work try deleting & reinstalling. it should be good
Updated latest app release today and now working again
I have tried today with the updated music app on my LG tv and it still does not work
Have reloaded several times, checked my tv software is up to date, even powered down and reloaded again but still the grey screen.
Any ideas please
We seem to have come up against a wall here
There doesn't seem to be any fix out there that us mere mortals can do, so something has to be done by others in the background to hopefully fix unless somebody a lot smarter than me has a solution

Just tried today (Dec 21)- still not working. Deleted, re-installed, updated all LG system software, checked network, and all other apps are working.
So it is just the Apple Music App that is not working. Launches and then goes to a blank screen.
Tried again yesterday after a software update for my LG TV in the hope the Apple app would work but nothing still.
This is becoming very long winded and you get the impression Apple in not concerned about its users.
Not much we can do I guess but sit and wait and wait.
This is probably la ong way down on their list of priorities with bug fixes. It's so very frustrating though as I was using this a lot with my Apple Music subscription ...... Maybe it's time to switch to Spotify if they are not prioritising this fix.
Hi same issue, a few days ago updated the Apple Music on a LG monitor and since just the grey screen showing, all other apps are working.

I really don’t know, I feel like it’s a software problem that’ll probably get fixed in the next tv update or app update cause something is definitely wrong in the background
It Still doesn’t work. Installed and removed several times the app.
