On chosing "select" all notes following of same pitch

Bug in Apple 11. On selecting "all notes following of the same pitch". won't do it until you try twice, does it, "pastes" it (but doesn't). Notes play but aren't there in the track you pasted them into . You can hear em but not see them. VERY ANNOYING and slows down the editing to a crawl as you work around it. $$##$@#$@#%!%!@%@!%!!! I hope they will do something to fix this.
