Logic Pro Misusing Microphone Permissions

In the most recent version of Logic Pro 11 from the app store, the software occasionally begins to enable and disable the microphone erratically even when no input is selected and no project is opened. This is shown by the inconsistent blinking of the microphone indicator in the Menu Bar. This takes up a lot of system memory and also forces project playback to pause and be manually resumed so frequently that the app becomes unusable. No other audio software is open, and restarting both the application and the entire Macbook hasn't had a 100% success rate in this scenario or the past. Disconnecting external devices like audio interfaces also makes no difference. This issue has happened on previous versions dating back to Logic Pro X and MacOS Sonoma. The issue seems undocumented on Apple's Community forums. Any known solutions?
