After updating my iPhone XS (10) with iOS 18.1 from 16.7.10 my iPhone became so sluggish that it is almost unworkable! Terrible update.

I should have already mentioned that I updated straight to 18.1.1 from 16.7.10 apologies for that.
Did a reset but nothing changed.
Try and update to iOS 18.1.1. to see if the issues persist
if they persist, you might want to force restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist
Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button.Press and hold the side button.
I have found a great improvement in responsiveness and speed after resetting Search and Siri. Turning all their options off, switching the iPhone off, then switching the iPhone back on and returning to Search and Siri to switch all their options back on the way they were.
