iPad Books app not opening books

So I searched the community and reddit, and I could not find a solution nor a problem exactly like mine.

Currently, I can't open books on my iPad Books app. This issue is only on the iPad–I can open all of my books no problem on both my Macbook Air and my iPhone.

More specifically, what happens is that I will click a book and either, it will bring up the pop-up with the cover of the book and a loading bar below it, but it stall there, or it will be unresponsive to my tap and do nothing.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Books app. I have turned off my iPad and turned it back on. I tried signing out of my Apple account and signing back in. None of it works.

Just to reiterate, this issue is only with the iPad app, I can open books no problem on my iPhone and Macbook Air
