iTunes Sync Has Scrambled Album Cover Art on iPhone

I hadn't connected my iPhone to my home PC for a long time. When I did, iTunes asked if I'd like to sync the two. I (apparently foolishly) said yes, and iTunes has now randomly shuffled almost every album's cover art on my phone. This is an insane thing to happen. How do I fix this?

Wrong album artwork recently A couple weeks ago I synced my iPhone 13 to my iTunes and since then many of the album covers displaying on my iPhone are wrong and some of the songs appear to be duplicated, one with the wrong album cover and one with the right one. If I look at iTunes, they are all correct. I saw a recent thread on this but the "solution" was to sign out of my iTunes account on my phone and log back in. That did nothing. I have tried: Updating both my iPhone and iTunes. Syncing my phone with no music. There still were songs on my phone but iTunes showed none. Rebooting computer and rebooting my phone. Deleting songs from the library using my phone. I am at a loss of what to do to fix it. Are there any other suggestions?

Incorrect iTunes artwork on iPad after synch I added some music to my new iPad pro, and, after being forced to update to the latest iOS version and synching the iPad, many albums on the iPad now have the wrong artwork. I am synching from a mac mini. In iTunes on the mac the art work is correct, but it seems that some (but not all) albums get random artwork (either from the same artist or a different one). When I originally synched the new iPad (last weekend) with the old one everything seemed correct. This is old school I rip an album from CD on the mac, add the artwork, and synch with the iPad. I am not using any streaming/cloud service. Although the process of synching the two has always been frustrating I have not encountered it randomly changing the artwork before. I also synched my iPod Touch. The artwork is correct there (I skip software updates for that device as I only use it to listen to music while driving, so any new software features are useless to me). This is obviously an issue with the synch process with the newest iPad software. Please fix it. This is an absurdly ridiculous defect for a company like Apple. Don't you have any QA?

Why do my album covers change on my phone when imported from iTunes? Found an issue with the music on my phone (iPhone 13, replaced this past fall) - missing most of the tracks on a lot albums. I had to replace my laptop about the same time, spending weeks getting it corrected, and didn't realize that my iTunes had no music. Seems because my music are my cd's ripped into my computer and not purchased nor downloaded, that iTunes would not sync between the old and new laptop. Spent the last 4 days updating, replacing massive amount of missing tracks (iTunes tends put "track 1", never with any info, into it's own album on about half of the albums or just not even including it), getting album artwork correct per album. I really want the artwork so when driving, I can just look at the cover to pick the next album. (I try to not to do this but sometimes it happens.) I finally synced the corrected iTunes to my phone. Yes, everything was updated prior to the sync. There are barely any correct album covers! This has been an ongoing issue but since I know that iTunes is correct, and this it the first time this phone has been physically synced to iTunes, I did not expect issues. Needless to say, I am so peeved. It seems to be a constant issue. I'll probably be deleted every album with an incorrect cover at this point. Does anyone have any idea why this happens? Is there something I'm doing incorrect when syncing? I check mark each individual album and nothing else. I'm soon going to be back to using cd's in my car. Thanks to everyone.
