iOS 18.1.1 has stopped my Bluetooth connection to my Blazer

After updating my phone this weekend to the 18.1.1 update, my phone no longer connects via Bluetooth to my Chevy Blazer. Carplay will still connect, but the phone itself will not connect and allow calls/texts to come through, even if plugged into a cable via the USB port either. I've deleted the phone from the car and the car from the phone about 8 times at this point, and it'll never connect for more than about 5 seconds before disconnecting and making me repeat the process. I need this resolved sooner than later.

iOS 18.2 public release is rolling out around the world in many (all?) countries today. I watched a video from someone in Australia an hour ago and he’d installed the update and reported that it resolved many of his issues. The article below explains how to update. The release time in your area may not have occurred yet. You will just need to check the update option in your iPhone.
