None. Apple's sandboxing prevents malware from affecting the unit, so that can't be the cause of the slowness. It also stops any scanners from checking files other than their own document.

A "malware" app will do nothing to help your phone.

Make an appointment at the Apple Store / Genius Bar or take the devices to an authorized Apple service shop to let them run some checks and tests on the iPhone and iPad.
