How to stop new safari windows from opening in full screen?

Open a new window and its full screen.


It should be size of previous window, This another annoying apple feature no one wants.

iMac 24″, macOS 15.1

Tile windows on Mac - Apple Support

I agree - another feature that I did not want.

You may not. However, there are those that do. Some people have even paid for third-party apps in order to have Tiling before macOS Sequoia. Different strokes… :)

Thanks for the link. But there is nothing I see (am I being dense?) about turning Tiling off.


I just want to custom size the Safari windows. And have it restored to that when I restart Safari.

All I have wanted to do since getting this new Mac mini Pro is to stop Safari from filling up my screen when I reopen it. I want the windows to look the way it did when I closed it.
