Possibility Apple Home POD connected to Robbers Phone?

My apartment was recently broken into and I am wondering if there is a possibility that the Apple Home Pod I have in my bedroom connected to the robbers phone. If it's possible it did is there a way to be able to figure out who the phone belongs to so I can report this to the authorities?

Unknown device tracks me down I woke up today in the morning and found out a notification that states that unknown device (airpod) was noticed nearby. The problem is I don’t have AirPods and I see that location of this airpod is tracked and I’m worried that my own location may be tracked down as well. How to notify law enforcement of stolen iPad and AirPods? How would I go about getting my stolen iPad and air pods back through law enforcement.. I have the last latest location which was less than a week ago and it is around me and near a pawn shop. I have both set in list mode… And was notified it was seen DEC 27 2022. It’s dec 29th now. the homepod is running on your wifi network, only way it could by any means communicate with the burglars devices is if he/she connected to your wifi network which would mean they would need your encryption password
