Notes missing on iPhone

All my notes have disappeared on my iPhone. When I click on Notes, all I get is a page that says folders and all the folders have zero data.

Notes disappeared on iPhone All of my notes are in a folder and I can see the Header for every note. When I open a note I get a blank screen and the keypad will not show what I am typing. I've discovered that the invisible notes are actually there. If you use the menu link at the bottom of the invisible note, you can copy or print the note plus a few other functions. I actually copied and pasted an invisible note into a text message. All of the remedies I found online say the notes have been deleted or moved to another location but that is not my experience. How can I get my Notes app working again?

What were you syncing your notes with? iCloud? Another email service?

Have you recently removed an email account from your device?
