Homepod alert sound for Calendar events

I would very much like to be able to set an alert for some Calendar events that would trigger the alarm sound on my Homepod. I don’t think it is possible.

For that matter when are they going to allow you to send your sleep schedule to your HomePod and use the wake up alarm sounds on your HomePod? And songs don’t generally seem to rouse them at all. We’ve tried. But those gradual wake up alarms on the phones are like magic. I’d just rather have it on the HomePod. I know they could do it. It’s not hard. Or even just a different set of tones like the regular alarms on the phone. Just something different! The choices are ridiculously limited for no good reason. (I mean I know it’s because they want you to pay for a subscription to apple music so you can choose music for your alarm tone but I don’t want music for my alarm tone.)

HomePod Mini Apple Music Alarm not Loading So I just got my Homepod Mini this morning. I love it it works for everything I need it to within my smart home set up but the one thing that doesn't work is setting Apple Music as an Alarm. When I go into set it for apple music it just shows loading (reference image below) I've tried restarting it, resetting it, redownloading the home app, messing with my apple music settings and I just can't seem to figure it out. My IPhone 14 pro is on version 16.3.1 my homepod is on version 16.3.2. Not sure where the problem is but I hope to know someone else has figured it out. TL;DR Homepod apple music alarm not loading
