When is Apple going to allow us more choices for the alarm tones on the HomePod? What if I don’t want music but I want the wide array of tones available for alarms on my phone? For that matter when are they going to allow you to send your sleep schedule to your HomePod and use the wake up alarm sounds on your HomePod? I would love to choose to have it play there instead of on my phone. I want my kids (and myself) to be able to put our phones in another room at night for sleep hygiene purposes and use our HomePods for wake up alarms instead. And songs don’t generally seem to rouse them at all. We’ve tried. But those gradual wake up alarms on the phones are like magic. I’d just rather have it on the HomePod. I know they could do it. It’s not hard. Or even just a different set of tones like the regular alarms on the phone. Just something different! The choices are ridiculously limited for no good reason. (I mean I know it’s because they want you to pay for a subscription to apple music so you can choose music for your alarm tone but I don’t want music for my alarm tone.)
