How do I turn off noise cancelation on Airpods Pro 2 (lightning) IOS 18.1

I just updated my Iphone 15 to ios 18.1 and when I connected my airpods it prompted me to turn on hearing add, Now I can not turn my airpods off the only options are Noise Cancelation, Adaptive, Transparency. I want to put my airpods on "Off" and the option is unavailable, It is visibale on my Macbook pro but when I click it it just gives me 3 bips.
