My iPhone 16 Pro - Super Hot and Massive Battery Drain after iOS 18.1 update

Hi everyone,

I bought an iPhone 16 Pro 512 GB model at launch. It was a lot hotter than my previous 11 Pro but it was tolerable.

I just installed iOS 18.1 with Apple Intelligence last night on my iPhone 16 Pro and my phone has only been on for 3 hours, and I’ve hardly used it and it’s at 74%. Yesterday while on iOS 18.0.1 I could get till 2 PM and have my phone still be at 91%

What the heck is going on?
