mac pro micro is very quiet in skype / tg (mic volume is max) how to fix?

noise suppression is off

nobody can hear me (need to shout into mic).

Buzzing Noise on Logic Pro with Input Monitoring Whenever I try to record audio, and use input monitoring, there's a quiet but extremely irritating, and constant, buzzing sound. It stops as soon as I switch off input monitoring. It happens whether I'm using headphones via my scarlett solo or my macbook's headphone jack, or whether I'm using the mac's internal speakers. I can't record anything with it happening because it's literally just buzzing over everything I do, and if I don't use input monitoring, I can't hear myself sing! I've tried experimenting with the latency/buffer size, and that hasn't worked. I've tried restarting Logic and the scarlett solo, to no avail. It only seems to happen when I'm using my mic, rather than the macbook's internal microphone, which could suggest it's a mic issue. If that's the case: what do I try for this!? How would I know if it's the microphone causing the problem? Any suggestions?

MacBook Air M2 input volume keeps going down during RingCentral calls When I have RingCentral Meetings, which I do daily for my job, people are complaining that they can't hear me (voice going in and out) or that they can barely hear me. I had a bottom case on and thought that might be covering up the relevant microphones, but uncovering it didn't fix the issue. Further, I notice that my input volume is lowered automatically....? How can I stop this from occurring during RingCentral Meeting calls and in general? Thank you hive mind for any help you can provide!

A Mac Pro desktop, the subject of this forum section, does not have a built-in microphone. It must use an external mic. If that is your case please detail what external mic you are using.

A MacBook Pro notebook (laptop) has a built-in microphone. If that is what you have, please confirm so we can get you moved to a more active and appropriate forum section.
