18.1 update and you can’t disable Siri

With the new 18.1 update , now you can NOT disable Siri.

used to, it was an option in the allowed apps category in restrictions. You could simply select don’t allow, and Siri wouldn’t even appear in settings.

now with this new update - it’s gone!!!!

you can simply go in settings to turn it on or off, and search explicit webpages right from the home screen search bar no matter what the restrictions are set to.

siri is its own thing now

search is its own thing now

they can’t be disabled in restrictions anymore!!! And can be toggled on and off in settings. When toggled on, go to your phone home screen. Type in any explicit word and look. Right on your home screen awful images appear

they are really failing us as parents. Apples restrictions used to be all you’d need.

help me guys. Help me get through to Apple and make these changes !!

Setting Talk to Siri to Off and disable Side Button for Siri might stop using Siri completely. There’s also an option in Accessibility to enable Type to Siri to disable.
