iOS 18 Photo captions no longer copying caption as comment when sharing to shared album

Prior to iOS 18.0, when sharing a photo with a caption to a shared album, the share photo screen would automatically have the caption “pasted in” to the comment field. This o longer works for me and it’s quite taxing f when sharing dozens of photos every day. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I cannot add a caption to a Facebook photo from my iPhone but I can on my laptop. So I was trying to post trip pictures and was going to describe where we were in the “add a caption” section but when I click on it it does nothing. The edit button in the top left corner or the dot on the right corner, nothing would do anything. I feel it has to be a setting on my phone because I was able to post and caption them from my laptop instead. Please help!! I’ve searched for hours!

The shared photos library icon is not appearing in Camera app My wife and I use the shared library feature of iCloud Photos. Works great from the Photos app, I can move photos in or out of the shared library with no issues. The problem is: the icon in the camera app that allows you to switch between shared and un-shared isn’t appearing anymore. Even though in Settings > Photos > Shared Library > Sharing from Camera is switched on. I’ve tried turning the setting off and back on again, I’ve also tried turning it off, turning off the phone, setting back on, restart the phone again… still no good. My iPad, with the same settings, shows the icon just fine. Both devices are on the newest non-Beta OSes. Any suggestions, folks?

photo captions do not show on all devices? Why do the captions I've added to photos on my iPhone not show up on my other devices even though it's all connected with an iCloud account?
