Trouble Setting Up Apple Music - “Enable Sync Library to listen everywhere.” error
This affects an iPad, iPhone, and Mac all on the same Apple account. Every time I try to enable “Sync Library”, I get the following pop up:
Enable Sync Library to listen everywhere.
To use your Apple Music subscription on this device, enable Sync Library.
After clearing that pop up, there is no change.
Trying to set up Apple Music, and I have tried all of the debug suggestions:
- Restart the Music app
- Tried enabling Sync Library under the Music app in Settings
- Reinstall the Music app on iphone
- Log out of “media and subscriptions” in settings & restart the phone
- Tried enabling sync library on other devices (Mac, iPad) with the same error
- Tried logging out of “media and subscriptions” on iPad & iPhone and enable on Mac
- Removed all old devices from Apple ID and updated the software on all current devices to Apple ID
These have not had an impact on the error, it has been the same every time.
Please let me know if there’s anything that I might be missing or could do differently?
