Messages does not recognise saved contact (To xx and Maybe ...)

I’m having the exact same issue when my husband sends me a text. Notification shows “Maybe: husband to you and husband”. His contact picture appears and disappears and also he is pinned and unpinned from my favorites. Sometimes our texts are split into 2 conversations - one from his phone number one from email. Interesting that it seems to be happening with significant others - not other contacts. It’s incredibly frustrating…especially since sometimes he doesn’t get my texts.

I am having this same issue and can’t get it corrected. I’ve researched and tried all recommendations and it continues to occur. I also keep losing the contact picture. I have seen other discussions where it seems to affect the spouse’s contact info a lot. I think it’s a bug, but it’s gotten to be an OLD bug.

Has anyone from Apple addressed this yet?? I keep hunting for a solution.
