when using keynote, I can't use the camera and microphone at the same time.

I am trying to record myself on my slides. I can see a live view of myself, but when I try to record audio, the camera either freezes or goes blank. Sometimes the audio records, sometimes it doesn't. The camera is working, the microphone is working, but Keynote won't let them work together at the same time.

Everything is up to date, computer is 13" MacBook Pro, 2020.

Keynote worked flawlessly on this computer before and I don't think the update from Sonoma to Sequoia caused that as after the update, Keynote still worked fine. Does anyone experienced this kind of problem before and if so, is there anything I can do to solve it ?

external mike recording presentation problems I am trying to record a presentation on Keynote 12.2.1. I am using an external mike for better sound quality. It works beautifully until I have to stop the recording. If I stop the recording to re-record due to a mistake or just to take a break while I get my thoughts together, it will continue to record... or so I think. When I go back to listen to it, it will play up to the spot I stopped and will go no further, not even with the video. I tried this several times with the same results. Out of curiosity and experimenting to solve the issue, I tried to record... stop... record... stop...record but this time without the external mike. Using the built in mike on my Macbook Pro (Ventura 13.1) all worked out just fine without the external mike. So my deduction is that is has to do something with when the external mike is hooked up. Since I don't want to record a 45 minute video in one shot I need to get this to work somehow with the external mike. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Keynote - replaying recorded show One of several problems... I have recorded my narration on a slideshow of about 15 minutes. I want to check if there is a problem midway, but if I choose 'Play Recorded Slideshow' it always will only play from the beginning of the show. I see no option to check from another point. I have had this problem through successive operating systems and have just had to spend time each time I want to review a certain point in any recorded presentation. Any workarounds? BTW, I am doing the recording on an old Mac using High Sierra, as the latest OS seems to screw up all recordings right away.
