Dispute Over Codelita Subscription Refund
Hello Apple Community,
I hope you are all doing well. I’m reaching out for assistance regarding a dispute with my Codelita subscription that I purchased through my Apple ID. I have encountered significant confusion surrounding the refund process, and I would greatly appreciate any insights or support from the community.
Background:
- Subscription Details:
- Service: Codelita (coding platform)
- Charge Amount: £39.9
- Date of Charge: September 16, 2024
- Cancellation Date: September 24 or 25, 2024 (approximately 8-9 days after registration)
- Email Used for Registration: email@icloud.com
- Communication with Codelita:
- I initially reached out to Codelita to request a refund, explaining that I canceled my subscription shortly after signing up and did not use the service at all.
- Codelita confirmed that they processed a full refund on September 19, 2024. They provided a transaction reference number for my records.
- Apple's Response:
- Following Codelita's confirmation, I checked my bank account and found no refund had been issued.
- When I inquired with Apple Support, I was informed that the refund could not be processed due to policies surrounding subscriptions through Apple. This response contradicts what Codelita has communicated to me.
My Concern:
I find myself in a frustrating situation where Codelita is willing to refund the charge, yet I am being told by Apple that no refund can be processed. This feels unjust, especially considering that I canceled my subscription just two days after the initial seven-day trial period and did not utilize the platform at all.
Request for Assistance:
I am reaching out to see if anyone in the community has experienced a similar issue or has suggestions on how to navigate this situation effectively. It seems unfair to be charged for an entire year's subscription for a service I did not use.
Thank you for your attention and any assistance you can provide. I look forward to your responses.
Best regards,
Bahar J
