Usually that's just boilerplate text displayed by the app. Once you allow software from a given developer, anything that developer ever distributes in the future will be allowed. So most likely, you've already allowed it.
But if the app won't run and is complaining that you still need to allow something that you cannot, then it's just a buggy app.
You don't need any 3rd party security apps. Your computer was in its most secure configuration the first time you turned it on after unboxing it. Any changes you make, and any software you install, can only reduce your security.
