"Next Record" functionality in Pages mail merge

Word allows you to merge multiple records into a document. How do I create a mail merge with personalization for multiple letters from a numbers spreadsheet. Why bother with Pages if it really doesn't do multiple records?

Please save me from Word and Excel an add this feature.

Mail Merge Labels "Next Record" fix update? This was posted in March looking for updates. I attempted to make address labels using pages and numbers with avery template download. The best I could do was get one label per page. Microsoft Word has a "Next Record" feature that prevents this from happening. I'm hoping apple creates a fix. If so please share! In the meantime, my workaround was to cut and paste each of these created records into one grid and then print my one sheet of 30 records. It was tedious but they printed correctly. Maybe a tad faster than handwriting and hopeful that there will be a fix next time around.

How do I use Mail Merge to print Address labels from a Numbers spreadsheet of names. I have a Numbers spreadsheet of 31 contacts. I can set up the label with the headings just fine. But when I do the Mail Merge in Pages, I end up with 31 pages with one label on each separate page! How do I get all of the labels on one sheet? (Meaning a sheet of labels of different names and addresses, not a sheet of labels of one person's address) - I have used Avery.com for a Numbers mail merge, and it is not the ideal solution for my needs. If you know how to do this mail merge in Pages, that is ideal for the project I am working on. Thank you in advance!

Pages 13.1 (7037.0.101) Mail Merge into label template I'm on Macbook Retina, 12-inch, Early 2016) using Montrerey 12.6.9 Can you wonderful folk please advise how I add the fields from my Numbers names & addresses list on to my Avery labels table template? (The objective is A4 sheets each of 12 labels, every cell unique; ie., with the first then subsequent records from the spreadsheet.) After no success getting the merge facility working within the table, I inserted an unformatted page and added the merge fields, then tried copying and pasting those fields to one cell of the table. Even changing paragraph marks to "new line" marks didn't prevent the program treating each field as a separate record and as such using a cell for each line.
