Is there any way to sort by date for podcasts. The options is greyed out for me.

Also where is Apple Application support?

Podcast not updating I have the Apple Podcast App on my iPhone and on my MacBook Pro. One of the podcasters I follow is "Surviving Narcissism with Dr Les Carter. A friend of mine sent me a link via iMessage to an episode dated August 1 2023. I am unable to access that link because in my version of the podcasts (on both my phone and computer) that program hasn't updated since May 16 2023. I asked Apple about that and at first they acknowledged they could see the same issue on their end but recently they sent me a note saying that the podcast is functioning as normal. Doesn't seem like a reasonable answer because my friend can access that episode but I can't. Is there some way I can force the podcast to update?

'Wondery' podcasts don't show up in "latest episodes" list in Apple podcasts app I use Apple Podcasts' "latest episodes" list all the time to decide what to listen to next. (Obvs it's a list of the latest episodes of all the podcasts I subscribe to arranged by time updated, with the newest at the top.) I've noticed at least one podcast (Ten Percent Happier) that is now part of the 'Wondery' thing no longer shows up in 'latest episodes' at all. (I don't subscribe to Wondery, so if I want to listen to these podcasts I need to go to the "shows" list and hunt that way.) Is this how it works with Wondery podcasts for non Wondery subscribers? If so, does the same problem occur in other podcast apps, does anyone know?

Apple Podcasts Apple podcasts app is poorly designed, has a mediocre quality, and apple (the most valued company in the world) is not doing anything about it. Actually every update just makes it a bit worse…Why? Any of the average third-party apps out there have better user interface with basic features and functionalities that should be included by default in any podcast app like playlist. A functioning playlist shouldn’t be a crazy idea in 2023. The “play next” or “play last” feature that apple podcast has is absolutely useless. It doesn’t even sync with the “up next” screen. It simply doesn’t work. Apple you can do much better…just genuinely try again.
