Issue with iOS 18 for AirPods: When I lock my phone while music is playing, it pauses or resumes. This occurs four times before the song is resumed. Does not happen when connected to my macbook. Also the max volume is decreased.

I’m having a problem where, when I click the Airpods Pro stem to pause a podcast, instead it starts playing a Music track. And then I can’t pause the music with the Airpod. However, it doesn’t seem to be the Airpod itself, because I can use it to pause and unpause music or other things (Youtube videos, etc) on the Mac. So it must be iOS 18.
Update… a reboot fixed it.
