No sound or vibration for notifications on lock screen on iPhone

Hello, I just upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro on launch day. I’m having an issue receiving any sounds/vibration for my notifications. Including text and calls! I’ve never run into this.

I am not in any sort of focus mode, do not disturb is off, silent mode is off, I’ve checked notifications for texts and calls and everything is on. Everything works completely fine when my phone is unlocked. But when it is locked, nothing works.

What could be causing this??

My wife and I have the same problem. We spent two hours on the phone last night with two different agents (both very patient), but got no resolution. They were going to elevate it to the Apple engineers.
