I pre-ordered an iPhone 16 pro max on Sep 13th and there was a transaction shows on my bank account statement on Sep 15th. I went to pick up the new phone on Sep 20th, but this morning (Sep 21st) there was another transaction shows on my bank account.
How can I solve this problem? Is this usual and the amount will be credited back soon?

This Happen to me too. They told me just wait for few days and should come back. but like still, come on they shouldn’t do that and if doesn’t come back they said they’ll do investigation. Same with my bank. which is really frustrating . Until I get my money back I paid 3700$ for iphone 16 😒.
Usually, there is a preauthorization hold when you make a preorder and then you are charged in your case when you picked it up. Contact your bank and make sure your with them.
The exact same thing happened to me as well. I’ll be at the Apple store tomorrow, so I’ll ask them about it. Not 100% sure but I have a vague memory that this happened to me before with another pre-order a couple of years ago and the second charge just disappeared after a few days…
