ios 16 software bug: Audi mmi won't toggle the songs post ios 16.2 upgrade

My Audi mmi won't toggle the songs post ios 16.2 upgrade. You can navigate to the playlist and go to the desired song but it won't play it. Seen this happen with one of the ios 13 roll outs too. The apple updates fix the problem, but I am up to 16.6 and the problem is still not fixed. This is a bug in the ios 16 software. Please help.

The bug is discussed in ios 13 here. Update 13.2 fixed it. Please apply the same fix to ios 16.

Thank you. But I am not using CarPlay. I am simply listening to iTunes in my car via Bluetooth. It's definitely an iOS 16 bug, the same that happened with iOS 13. Apple needs to fix the bug as they did with 13.2. Everyone else who was having the issue with 13 immediately had it fixed when Apple issued the 13.2 update. I called Apple Support and reported it as a bug, but we'll see how long it takes them to fix it. Thanks again.

This bug still exists. I am up to IOS 17.0.3 and it is still not fixed. The Audi infotainment system won't work correctly with iTunes. The songs are listed but I cannot toggle to the song I want to hear. The songs play in order, and I have no control. I cannot toggle to the song I want to hear. When is Apple going to fix this? What is the point of having iTunes if the car won't control the song choices? I have to take my eyes off the road and control iTunes from my iPhone if I want to have it work correctly. Apple, please don't ignore this bug any longer.
