MacBookAir Screen Keeps Dimming

I am plugged in to power (with my battery at ~75%) and I have battery settings set (unfortunately) so my lap top does not go into low power mode. Under Displays I don't see anything that would cause the brightness to fade by itself. What else should I be adjusting or is there something else I should be doing? I'm running Sonoma 14.6.1.

Macbook Pro screen keeps dimming regardless of settings The screen on my MacBook Pro keeps dimming after a short interval, regardless of the settings I've enabled. I have done the following: -Disabled screen saver -Unchecked "automatically adjust brightness" (and true tone) -Unchecked "slightly dim the display while on battery power Set "turn display off after.." to either "never" or to a very long duration (1 hour +). As a related issue, I've noticed that sometimes when I re-open System Preferences, this setting has reset itself to a shorter duration. Could that be part of it? And yet, after 5-10 minutes, the screen just dims. Any suggestions? This is a MacBook Pro 2019, Monterey 12.5.1 but I was having this issue with previous versions too.

Brightness won't go up Macbook Air Hi all as the title suggest, my brightness won't turn up. I am using an M3 MacBook Air. After I put my mac to sleep, I opened it 30 minutes later to my brightness being dimmed and I cannot adjust it in settings, on my keyboard or in the control centre. The only way I can fix this is to restart my mac, (which resolves the issue) however this has happened 3 times today. I'm not sure what is causing this, as the problem only started today. I have not installed any new applications. However I have a speculation this is caused by the new mac os update???? as I never had this problem before. I have also noticed that when I go to apple menu then sleep, there is usually a delay before my display closes, again this issue only appeared today (fixed when restart) does anyone else have this problem? :(

System Settings > Displays, turn off the option to Automatically adjust brightness (which uses the ambient light sensor to adjust display brightness).
