When I had a missed call, prior to this update, on my locked screen or in the notifications bar it would automatically call back the contact or number. Now when I press on the missed call it takes me to the contact card. Automatic callback is enabled in my settings, and my sister is having the same issue. Is it non reversable, or could it be just a bug?

My phone is doing the same thing since the iOS 18 update. I recently just updated it again today with 18.1 and it is still doing the same. I even tried toggling the return missed call when locked on and off to see if it would somehow reset, and still when toggled on or off, they both do the exact same thing. It takes me through the same steps when in locked mode. Both on and off make me put my passcode because I don’t use Face ID, then it takes me to their poster id card, and then I have to tap their number to call. To many extra steps when all I want to do is return a missed call. Is there anyway to fix this issue apple??
globally ios 18 is a total software failure. there are many changes that force iPhone users to go backwards instead of speeding forward. I think that after this software many users will sell their iPhones and go to other phone brands if they don't return as it was.
