After upgrading to iOS 18, my albums don’t show up on search under Photos

After upgrading to IOS 18 my Albums don’t show up on search under photos anymore. Anyone having the same issue?!

Photo albums out of order when “adding to album” Since the 18.3 update, when I try to add a photo from my full collection into an album using the “add to album” button, my list of albums—easily over 200—is not sorted alphabetically by name (or by any other metric I can see), making it very difficult to find the albums I’m looking for. Searching, I see many complaints about the photos app change since 18.0, but I was good until 18.3. (Not that I loved the other changes, but it was still functional for me until now.) OTOH, I don’t see others describing what I’m experiencing, even since 18.3, so I hope this isn’t a “just me” problem. The photos/albums still sort properly on my desktop, but that sort doesn’t translate back to my iPhone, like it used to, at least as far as the “add to album” button is concerned. (To be clear, the albums are in order on my phone when I’m looking at the list to view a particular album, but not when I select a photo & hit the “add to album” button.) Any “me too’s” or suggestions for possible fix?

Organizing photo albums issue on iPhone 18 iOS I am a volunteer leader for an online community. I keep all our photos in albums by subject. I must be able to access these albums quickly. With the 18 IOS, my albums have become a mess. I can't organize them and spend too much time looking for photos albums. I hate what the update has done to Photos. Please fix it! I am so frustrated! It’s just trying to reload your photos. Once it finishes reloading, it’ll show up on your search again. I’ve had the same thing happen but it’s been resolved.

Thank you and I hope so! I do work with pictures and have 100s of albums…it will be almost impossible to search for what I need by just scrolling.
