I am trying to order an iPhone 16 via the Apple military discount website. I verified my veteran status using ID-ME and I agreed to the terms. I then selected all the options for the iPhone that I wanted. I got to the end and the pre-order button was dimmed and could not be selected.
Why can't I pre-order this phone?

Well you’re a day early, it’s today the 13th that preorders open. I’m having an issue preordering on the military and veterans website and it’s most definitely now Friday the 13th. I usually preorder on the military website every year first thing in the morning for a pro or pro max and never had an issue until now. I’ve been preordering since iPhone X. I’m getting “oops. Something went wrong. System error, please try again later “. Funny thing is this year I waited until the evening to preorder vs dealing with all the traffic when it first opens up and it’s the only time I’ve had trouble.
