How to reduce photo on iphone to 300 kb

I am applying for a visa and need to resize photos to no more than 300 kb to upliad to the application. I do not have a laptop, i am using my iphone.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 17

Easiest way to do this, is to email the photo to yourself.

After attaching the photo to an email in the Mail App, tap on Send, and it should ask you to select a size for it.

I just tried opening a portrait on my phone and doing a screenshot of the image. I cropped it a bit, and it came to 142KB. You'll have to experiment a bit, but it's pretty simple.
