Banking apps are not opening on my iPhone after updating to iOS 17.6.1

Well, I’m not having a problem with banking apps specifically but I have apps that aren’t connecting to WiFi after installing update 17.6.1. iMessage is also not working. My Wi-Fi is working fine overall and with my iPhone so it seems to be a software issue that hasn’t been resolved yet. I have to contact support again because of this. I hope you’re able to resolve your issue.

I have no trouble connecting with my "Scotiabank" app, but what I cannot do is get Apple Pay to accept any of my Scotiabank cards. Apparently it's the bank that refuses to authorize them, and I have to deal with my bank nto sort it out.

I wonder if there's a connection. Since this is my first iPhone, I don't know if it would've worked with an earlier iOS.

Some applications, especially some banking apps are not opening. I have done reinstalling those apps and also reset all the settings. But still the apps are in same situation. iOS 17.6.1

Seems like a "Banking.app" issue— talk to your bank for your issue, maybe they have some insight.

At the least you can delete it and download a new updated version of your said app...
