When I'm using Logic my recorded audio tracks will – as far as I can tell – randomly go into solo safe-mode. Even after control-clicking the solo icon the issue will appear without explanation again. What's happening?

Are you accidentally hitting the S key, maybe?
The S key turns solo on and off, but it doesn't fix the issue where certain channels stay on solo safe randomly.
Go to your Key Commands window, type solo into the search field and inspect the results.
Are you using additional midi/usb hardware like controller, keyboards... which sending faulty messages?
