Apple pencil pro sometimes unresponsive

I recently bought an iPad Air 11-inch (M2) with the Apple Pencil Pro in June, and so far it has worked decently without issue until just a week ago.

I mainly use the Pencil with Procreate, and I use a custom pressure sensitivity in the app.

At random occurrences (I haven't found any cause of it yet), the pressure sensitivity would reset to default and the squeeze function would no longer work. Sometimes the pencil would go completely unresponsive despite being connected in bluetooth settings. I've tried tightening the tip, loosening it, and re-pairing it in bluetooth multiple times - nothing would 'instantly' fix it, though it eventually fixes itself if I wait around 5-10 minutes. While not a pressing matter, it's still inconvenient since I use the Procreate app a lot.

Since I recently got the pencil, is it better to just get a replacement? Or should I try something else?

My Apple Pencil has the same problem. Sometimes when I squeeze the pencil it doesn't respond, but if I let it "rest" for a few minutes it's fine. I just restarted my iPad and reconnected the pencil this afternoon, and it seems to be working better and hasn't happened again.
