iPhone mostly on SOS mode post 17.5.1 update

I have fixed my problem.

I have drained my phone battery and then let the phone like this for 24h. From time to time I would press on the side button to force the display to light-up and make sure batter drains more.

After 24h+ I charged the phone and mobile service was restored - the phone was able to connect to the Carrier service.

It appears the battery drain resets the modem which is responsible for mobile services.

The problem I am encountering ( as well as the rest of the folks on this thread) is strictly related to the 17.6.1 upgrade. Immediately after upgrade, the phone stopped connecting to the Carriers network and settings related to Mobile services disappeared .

Please raise this Engineering team asap

the link posted above is a general knowledge article. It is not helpful for people who upgraded to 17.6.1 and suddenly run into this issue.

I have been experiencing network issues and it has actually became worse since the 17.6.1 upgrade . At one point thought it was just my Zim network:)

Cellular error and it shows verifying update every time when i try to update it to ios17.6.1
