iPhone mostly on SOS mode post 17.5.1 update

So, i installed ios 17.6.1 in hope it will fix my network problems. It worked whole day, woke up in the morning with the SOS mode again. Everything i tried, nothing helped. It searches for service and than just stays on "no service". Its for me like that from 17.5.1 update. I am losing hope that my phone will be usefull ever again.... I am so sad.

The problem I am encountering ( as well as the rest of the folks on this thread) is strictly related to the 17.6.1 upgrade. Immediately after upgrade, the phone stopped connecting to the Carriers network and settings related to Mobile services disappeared .

I encountered the same issue after updating to iOS 17.6.1—my mobile data stopped working. I noticed that the APN settings were missing, and I needed to update them along with the carrier settings. I visited the carrier’s website where they provided the necessary APN configuration. After updating the APN settings, the issue was resolved."

I have fixed my problem.

I have drained my phone battery and then let the phone like this for 24h. From time to time I would press on the side button to force the display to light-up and make sure batter drains more.

After 24h+ I charged the phone and mobile service was restored - the phone was able to connect to the Carrier service.

It appears the battery drain resets the modem which is responsible for mobile services.
