IOS 17.5.1 GPS problems

I didn’t see this in the other thread. I’m running an iPhone 14 in Canada on Freedom Mobile. I’m seeing the Wifi drop outs, but weirdly GPS and using any map navigation app is constantly failing.

observed behaviours

• loss of location even after multiple retries by the apps
• Switching cell networks between Freedom and roaming causes confusion
• compass orientation gets messed up and my car points in all kinds of difrections
• really Long lag time between position updates.
• starting navigation from standstill fails to update immediately when you start moving
• restarting of phone and services doesn’t improve anything
• rural position failed on me 100% until I returned to an urban center with more cell towers. It’s like the gps isn’t functioning or poorly.
• messes up Apple CarPlay too

worked fine before updating. I deliver goods for my job, so this is bad.
